Zach has a beautiful reddish-gold coat with some white on his chest and 4 white paws. He is three years old and was surrendered to an area pound by his owners. He needed a good brushing when he first arrived but has cleaned up to be quite a gorgeous guy.
Zach is very playful and really wants a family to love him. He pulls on his leash if it is long, but if you hold it short he will walk right next to you. He loves being brushed and will give kisses almost the whole time. We don't think his former family spent much time with him as he seems to crave attention.
He seems a little shy at certain times, if you bend over him to pet him or say "No" in too loud or stern of a voice. He wants to please and will begin positive re-enforcement training soon.
He is a little small for a golden, standing at around 22 inches high and weighing under 50 lbs.
